RiboFree Universal Depletion uses the input RNA itself to guide enzymatic removal of cDNA derived from abundant rRNA, which can make up as much as 90% of a sample. It has been validated on human, rodent, avian, plant and prokaryotic RNA from cells, snap-frozen tissue, FFPE and whole blood. Partial P5 and P7 adapters are ligated to first-strand cDNA in one step.
