The Excel Scientific AdvanceSeal™ 3000 AS-3000P is a peelable aluminum foil heat seal in roll format — engineered for PCR, long-term compound storage, light-sensitive assays, and robotic plate sealing workflows requiring a clean, tear-free peel every time. The AS-3000P roll measures 77.5mm × 610m and is compatible with Kbiosystems, Azenta, and Agilent PlateLoc heat sealers. Effective across an exceptional temperature range of -80°C to +105°C, and PCR certified free of detectable DNase, RNase, and Human DNA contamination. A wider 115mm × 500m format is also available as AS-3000L.

Peelable Foil — Clean Removal Without Tearing The defining feature of the AdvanceSeal™ 3000 is its peelable design. Unlike standard foil heat seals that must be pierced or cut for sample access, the AS-3000P peels cleanly from the plate without tearing — preserving the integrity of the seal film and preventing foil fragments from contaminating wells during removal. This makes the AdvanceSeal™ 3000 ideal for workflows requiring repeated access to sealed plates, downstream processing after storage, or automated plate handling where clean, reliable peel performance is critical.

Broad Plate Compatibility — Polypropylene, Dual Component, and Polystyrene The AS-3000P is compatible with three common plate substrate types, covering the vast majority of microplates used in PCR, compound storage, and high-throughput screening:

• Polypropylene plates — 3 seconds at 155°C–165°C
• Dual component PCR plates (Polycarbonate/Polypropylene) — 3 seconds at 155°C–165°C
• Polystyrene plates — 2 seconds at 140°C

PCR Certified — DNase-Free, RNase-Free, Human DNA-Free The AS-3000P is PCR certified and tested to be free of detectable levels of DNase, RNase, and Human DNA contamination — meeting the quality standards required for nucleic acid amplification workflows where seal-derived contamination could generate false positive results or interfere with amplification efficiency. This certification is critical for clinical, diagnostic, and forensic PCR applications where human DNA contamination from a seal film would be unacceptable.

Excellent Chemical Resistance The foil construction of the AS-3000P provides excellent chemical resistance — making it suitable for sealing plates containing organic solvents, DMSO-based compound libraries, detergent-containing buffers, and other chemically aggressive sample matrices commonly encountered in drug discovery and compound storage workflows.
