Every Pure•Amp™ product is certified free of RNase, DNase, DNA, and PCR inhibitors, and manufactured from heat-resistant, medical-grade polypropylene to exacting dimensional tolerances. Pure•Amp™ PCR Tubes, Strips & Caps Pure•Amp™ PCR tubes and strips are precision-manufactured to maintain ultra-thin, uniform wall thickness for optimal thermal transfer between the thermal cycler block and your sample. Available in 0.2 mL and 0.1 mL (low-profile) formats, with a choice of flat, domed, or optical caps — including clear, white, and frosted optical caps for qPCR fluorescence applications. Strips are available in seven color options (blue, green, orange, purple, red, yellow, and natural) for easy sample identification. Individual tubes with attached flat or domed caps are also available for single-reaction work. The unique Sep-R-8™ breakable plate format can be broken down into strips of eight for greater control over sample quantity and reduced waste.
Pure•Amp™ PCR Plates Pure•Amp™ 96-well PCR plates are designed to be compatible with most popular thermal cyclers including ABI, Bio-Rad, Eppendorf, GeneAmp, and Roche instruments. Available in 0.2 mL standard and 0.1 mL low-profile (fast) formats, in non-skirted, semi-skirted, and raised-rim configurations. White plates are available for improved fluorescence reflectivity in qPCR applications. The 384-well format is also available in ABI®-type (natural) and Roche®-type (white) configurations. All Pure•Amp™ plates feature ultra-thin walls held to tight dimensional tolerances for rapid heat transfer and consistent amplification results across every well.
Pure•Amp™ Sealing Films & Foils Five sealing membrane types are available for PCR and qPCR applications, all guaranteed to maintain evaporation rates below 5%. Options include standard transparent film for PCR (-40°C to +140°C), optically clear sticky adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive films for qPCR, aluminum foil for storage or PCR (-80°C to +120°C), and ELISA/EIA film for plate storage. Packaged in inner packs of 10 membranes for easy dispensing and sterility maintenance. Available sterile and non-sterile.
Pure•Amp™ Multi-Purpose Tool The Pure•Amp™ multi-purpose tool is designed to ease the most common inconveniences of PCR work. The toothed edge opens and closes strip tubes with attached caps, separate cap strips, and individual tubes. The smooth edge provides uniform, reliable pressure when sealing plate films — ensuring consistent, leak-free seals every time.
