LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Crystal Technology & Industries Stainless Steel Vertical Freezer Rack for Standard 2" Boxes (Cat # CF-13-2). This tall, high-capacity vertical rack stores thirteen standard 2" freezer boxes in a single column, stacked 13 boxes high. It lowers straight down into laboratory chest freezers and liquid nitrogen (LN2) tanks. At 28 1/2" tall, it is sized for deep LN2 tanks and chest freezers with more interior height. It holds three more boxes than the 10-high CF-10-2 in the same 5 5/8" x 5 1/2" footprint, so it gets the most out of every rack position in a tall tank.
The CF-13-2 is made of pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel with double-welded joints for strength and long-term durability at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures. All edges are smoothed for safe handling, even with cryogenic gloves. Each of the thirteen compartments measures 2 3/16" x 5 5/16" x 5 3/8" and accepts standard 2" cryoboxes and freezer boxes in fiberboard, cardboard, or plastic. A built-in handle at the top of the rack makes lifting it in and out of the freezer quick and easy.
The CF-13-2 is sold as a rack only. Storage boxes are not included, so you can use your existing 2" boxes. Pre-configured versions with 2" boxes and 81-cell or 100-cell dividers are also available.
