LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Crystal Technology & Industries Stainless Steel Vertical Freezer Rack with Spring Clips for Standard 2" Boxes (Cat # CF-13-2-S). This tall, high-capacity vertical rack stores thirteen standard 2" freezer boxes in a single column, stacked 13 boxes high, for laboratory chest freezers and liquid nitrogen (LN2) tanks. Integrated spring clips hold each box in place, so boxes stay put when the rack is lifted, tilted, or moved. That cuts the risk of a box sliding out and dropping samples into the freezer or onto the floor.
The CF-13-2-S is the tallest, highest-capacity rack in Crystal's 2" spring-clip line. At 28 1/2" tall, it is sized for deep LN2 tanks and chest freezers. It holds three more boxes than the 10-high CF-10-2-S in the same 5 5/8" x 5 1/2" footprint. On a rack this tall and fully loaded, built-in box retention matters most: the spring clips secure each box without loose locking rods to handle while you're wearing cryogenic gloves. The rack is made of pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel with double-welded joints for strength and long-term durability at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures. All edges are smoothed for safe handling. Each of the thirteen compartments measures 2 3/16" x 5 5/16" x 5 5/16" and accepts standard 2" cryoboxes and freezer boxes in fiberboard, cardboard, or plastic. A built-in handle at the top makes lifting the rack in and out of the freezer quick and easy.
The CF-13-2-S is sold as a rack only. Storage boxes are not included, so you can use your existing 2" boxes. Pre-configured versions with 2" boxes and 81-cell or 100-cell dividers are also available.
