LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Crystal Technology & Industries Stainless Steel Vertical Freezer Rack for Standard 3" Boxes (Cat # CF-10-3). This high-capacity vertical rack stores ten standard 3" freezer boxes in a single column, stacked 10 boxes high. It lowers straight down into laboratory chest freezers and liquid nitrogen (LN2) tanks. The taller 3" boxes hold larger cryovials, such as 4 mL and 5 mL tubes, so this rack is well suited to biorepositories and labs storing larger-volume samples. It organizes freezer space, speeds sample retrieval, and keeps the lid open for less time.
The CF-10-3 is made of pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel with double-welded joints for strength and long-term durability at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures. All edges are smoothed for safe handling, even with cryogenic gloves. Each of the ten compartments measures 3 1/8" x 5 5/16" x 5 3/8" and accepts standard 3" cryoboxes and freezer boxes in fiberboard, cardboard, or plastic. A built-in handle at the top of the rack makes lifting it in and out of the freezer quick and easy. At just over 32" tall, the CF-10-3 is built for deep chest freezers and LN2 tanks.
The CF-10-3 is sold as a rack only. Storage boxes are not included, so you can use your existing 3" boxes. Pre-configured versions with 3" boxes and 81-cell or 100-cell dividers are also available.
