LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Crystal Technology & Industries Stainless Steel Upright Freezer Rack for Standard 2" Boxes (Cat # UF-552). This high-capacity side-access rack holds twenty-five standard 2" freezer boxes in a 5-deep x 5-high configuration. It slides onto the shelf of an upright −20°C or −80°C freezer, and boxes are accessed from the front. Upright racks let you pull out one organized rack and reach the box you need, instead of searching through loose boxes stacked on a shelf. That shortens door-open time and helps keep freezer temperatures stable.
At 27 5/16" deep and 11" tall, the UF-552 is built for extra-deep shelves in large-capacity upright ultra-low freezers. Its 5-deep x 5-high design puts twenty-five boxes in each shelf position. It is made of stainless steel with double-welded joints and rounded, smoothed edges for strength, durability, and safe handling, and it is backed by Crystal's unconditional lifetime warranty. A handle makes the rack easy to pull from deep shelves. Each compartment measures 5 3/8" deep x 2 3/16" high x 5 7/16" wide and accepts standard 2" cryoboxes and freezer boxes in fiberboard, cardboard, polycarbonate, or polypropylene.

UPRIGHT vs. VERTICAL RACKS — WHICH DO YOU NEED?
Upright Racks (UF series): For upright freezers with a front-opening door. Racks slide out like a drawer for side/front access, with boxes arranged multiple deep x multiple high. Best for upright −20°C and −80°C freezers.
Vertical Racks (CF series): For chest freezers and LN2 tanks with a top-opening lid. Racks lift straight up, with boxes stacked in a single vertical column. Best for chest freezers and cryogenic tanks.
