The Zyppy™-96 features Zymo Research's innovative pellet-free, direct lysis procedure — bypassing the tedious centrifugation, pelleting, and resuspension steps common to conventional 96-well plasmid prep protocols and dramatically reducing hands-on time.
The uniquely formulated Deep Blue Lysis Buffer is added directly to bacterial cultures in the supplied 96-well block, eliminating the need for pre-centrifugation of cultures. The patented Neutralization/Clearing Buffer then assists with lysate neutralization and clearing. Combined with Zymo-Spin™ I-96 plate technology, the result is endotoxin-free, high-quality plasmid DNA (A260/280 ≥ 1.8, up to 10 µg/well) in approximately 45 minutes — ideal for restriction endonuclease digestion, DNA ligation, PCR, Sanger sequencing, NGS library preparation, transfection, and other sensitive downstream applications.
