The Zyppy™ kit features a pellet-free, modified alkaline lysis procedure that completely bypasses the conventional bacterial culture centrifugation, pelleting, and resuspension steps — saving significant hands-on time with every prep.
Simply add the uniquely formulated 7X Blue Lysis Buffer directly to the bacterial culture, add the Yellow Neutralization Buffer, and purify using the provided Zymo-Spin™ IIN column. The patented color-coded buffer system provides easy, error-free visual verification of complete bacterial cell lysis (blue) and neutralization (yellow → colorless) at each step.
