Combining a unique single-step RAD (RNA Agarose Dissolving) Buffer that simultaneously dissolves the agarose gel slice and binds the RNA with Zymo-Spin™ IC capped column technology, the R1011 delivers ultra-pure, concentrated RNA in approximately 30 minutes without the need for phenol/chloroform, organic solvents, or messy precipitation steps.
The Zymoclean™ Gel RNA Recovery Kit recovers RNA fragments ≥200 nucleotides from agarose gels buffered with TAE, TBE, or MOPS — including formaldehyde denaturing gels up to 2.0% — making it compatible with the full range of RNA gel electrophoresis formats commonly used in research labs. Recovery rates of ≥80% are achieved for RNA fragments ≥500 nt. The patented Fast-Spin Zymo-Spin™ IC column technology allows RNA to be concentrated and eluted into minimal volumes (≥ 6 µl) of DNase/RNase-free water, yielding highly concentrated, ultra-pure RNA ready for all downstream RNA-based manipulations.
