The capped column format is preferred by labs requiring secure, leak-proof column handling, or where vacuum manifold compatibility with a sealed cap is needed. Ideal for core facilities, high-throughput research groups, and any lab running frequent gel DNA extraction workflows at scale.

    The Zymoclean™ Gel DNA Recovery Kit provides rapid purification of high-quality DNA from TAE or TBE-buffered agarose gels in just minutes. Using Zymo Research's ADB (Agarose Dissolving Buffer), the gel slice is rapidly dissolved and the DNA is bound directly to the Zymo-Spin™ IC column without the need for phenol/chloroform or organic solvents. The result is ultra-pure DNA (A260/280 ≥ 1.8, A260/230 ≥ 1.8) in minimal elution volumes (≥ 6 µl) — highly concentrated and immediately ready for ligation, sequencing, labeling, PCR, restriction digestion, and NGS applications.
