LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Benchmark Scientific Orbi-Shaker™ MP Microplate Shaker with 4-Position Platform (Cat # BT1502). This compact, high-speed orbital shaker is built for mixing and vortexing microplates. It holds up to four standard microplates, PCR plates, or deep-well plates. With the optional microtube adapters, it also holds up to 80 microcentrifuge tubes. Speeds run from 200 to 1500 RPM on a 3 mm orbit, which gives thorough, efficient mixing in small well volumes for ELISA, cell-based assays, sample preparation, and general plate mixing.
The included 4-position platform holds plates securely with fitted brackets, so you don't need springs, clamps, or tools. Plates load and unload in seconds. A digital microprocessor provides precise speed control in 10 RPM increments, and a large LED display shows speed and time. The timer runs from 1 minute to 99 hours or continuously. A brushless, maintenance-free motor delivers smooth, quiet, reliable operation. When mixing deep-well plates, maximum speed is limited to 1000 RPM to keep samples secure.
