LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Benchmark Scientific Roto-Mini™ Plus Tube Rotator (Cat # R2024). It is the variable-speed, multi-mode upgrade to the popular Roto-Mini™ (R2020). Speed is adjustable from 5 to 70 RPM, and three mixing modes (Mix, Pause, and Rock) let you match the motion to the sample. That makes the Roto-Mini™ Plus well suited to gentle end-over-end mixing, antibody incubations, immunoprecipitation, bead binding, and blood sample mixing, all on a compact 3 lb footprint.
The three operating modes go well beyond simple rotation. Mix mode combines rotation with oscillation for more thorough, aggressive mixing. Pause mode adds intermittent stops during rotation, which tumbles particles and beads through the full sample volume. Rock mode gives a gentle back-and-forth, see-saw motion for delicate samples. Interchangeable snap-on tube holders, included with the unit, accept microcentrifuge tubes, 5–7 mL blood tubes, 10–15 mL conical tubes, and 50 mL conical tubes. Capacity is up to 44 x 1.5/2.0 mL, 20 x 15 mL, or 6 x 50 mL tubes.
