The pronounced grip ring molded around the circumference of the base provides a secure, comfortable grip for easy one-hand handling in the biosafety cabinet — a critical advantage when maintaining multiple cultures simultaneously. The vented lid with molded spacers allows consistent gas exchange between the dish interior and the CO₂ incubator atmosphere, maintaining the correct pH and oxygen/CO₂ balance essential for mammalian cell culture.
