The deeper 20mm sidewall of the 229621 vs. the standard 15mm height (229690) provides taller sidewalls that reduce the risk of media splashing during handling and transport — a significant advantage when working with larger media volumes or when quickly moving multiple dishes between the incubator and the biosafety cabinet.
