The Crystal Technology & Industries UFMP-412L Upright Freezer Rack stores up to 72 microtiter plates with lids (84 without) in 8 compartments arranged four deep and two high. Its 12" height fits the standard shelf spacing of many upright -80°C freezers, so plate libraries stay organized instead of stacked loose on the shelf.
Each compartment is sized for standard-footprint 96-well and 384-well microtiter plates, including deep-well and PCR plates that share the same footprint. The rack is made from durable stainless steel with double welds and rounded edges, so it stays strong and corrosion-free through years of ultra-low temperature storage and is comfortable to handle with cryo gloves. A locking rod keeps plates in place, and an optional security lock device is available separately.
