The Quick-RNA™ MagBead Kit is the most comprehensive and versatile RNA isolation kit in the Quick-RNA™ line — designed for samples that require the most complete lysis and processing toolset. DNA/RNA Shield™ (2X concentrate, 125 mL), Proteinase K (lyophilized, 4 x 20 mg), and DNase I (lyophilized) are all included — enabling RNA isolation from all sample types including cells, solid tissue (including tough-to-lyse and FFPE tissue), whole blood, biological fluids, environmental samples (plant/seed, soil), swabs (stool, nasal), and microbial samples. The combination of DNA/RNA Shield™ lysis, Proteinase K protein digestion, and RNA Lysis Buffer chemistry ensures efficient lysis and RNA recovery from even the most challenging matrices.
The magnetic bead workflow is elegantly automation-compatible: samples are lysed, MagBinding Beads capture the RNA, a magnetic stand pellets the beads for wash steps, and RNA is eluted — all without centrifugation, making the entire workflow suitable for liquid handling robots and automated RNA extraction platforms. Recommended accessory materials (sold separately) include the ZR-96 MagStand (P1005), 96-well Collection Plate (C2002), 96-Well Block (P1001), and 96-well Elution Plate (C2003).
