The 200-prep high-volume format makes the R1055 ideal for high-throughput labs and core facilities running frequent RNA isolation workflows who require the best economy per prep in the Quick-RNA™ MiniPrep line.
The Quick-RNA™ MiniPrep Kit combines Zymo Research's proprietary RNA Lysis Buffer chemistry with Zymo-Spin™ IIICG Capped Column and Spin-Away™ Filter technology to yield highly concentrated, DNA-free total RNA — including small RNAs as short as 17 nucleotides — ready for RT-PCR, RNA-seq, microarray, Northern blotting, and other sensitive downstream applications. A key advantage of the Quick-RNA™ MiniPrep is its unique ability to separately enrich small RNA (17–200 nt; e.g., miRNA, siRNA, snRNA) and large RNA (>200 nt; e.g., mRNA, rRNA) fractions in separate eluates from the same lysate — providing researchers with the flexibility to study both small and large RNA populations. DNase I is included for on-column treatment to produce strictly DNA-free RNA. Samples preserved in DNA/RNA Shield™, RNAlater™, RNAprotect®, and Allprotect® are compatible for direct processing.
