Designed for core facilities, high-throughput genomics labs, and any research group running large numbers of preparative gel extractions on a routine basis, the D4022 delivers the same outstanding performance as the 2 x 96 prep D4021 with greater economy and capacity.
The ZR-96 Zymoclean™ kit enables simultaneous purification of up to 96 gel-extracted DNA samples in a single centrifuge run, eliminating the throughput bottleneck of individual spin-column extractions. Using Zymo Research's ADB (Agarose Dissolving Buffer), gel slices are dissolved directly in the 96-well collection plate and DNA is bound to the Zymo-Spin™ I-96 plate without the need for phenol/chloroform, organic denaturants, or messy precipitation steps. Purified DNA (up to 5 µg per well) is eluted into minimum volumes (≥ 6 µl) and is immediately ready for ligation, sequencing, labeling, PCR, restriction endonuclease digestion, and NGS applications.
