LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Zymo Research ZR-96 Zymoclean™ Gel DNA Recovery Kit (Cat # D4021) — a high-throughput 96-well plate-based kit for the rapid, parallel purification of high-quality DNA from TAE or TBE-buffered agarose gels. Designed for labs processing large numbers of gel-purified DNA samples simultaneously, the D4021 eliminates the bottleneck of individual spin-column extractions by enabling up to 96 samples to be processed in a single centrifuge run.
Using Zymo Research's ADB (Agarose Dissolving Buffer), gel slices are dissolved directly in the collection plate wells and the DNA is bound to the Zymo-Spin™ I-96 plate without the need for phenol/chloroform, organic denaturants, or messy precipitation steps. Purified DNA (up to 5 µg per well) is eluted into minimum volumes (≥ 6 µl) and is immediately ready for ligation, sequencing, labeling, PCR, restriction endonuclease digestion, and NGS applications.
