All of these films are conformable aluminum foil, so you can see the seal outline around each well and confirm it is secure, and each is certified free of DNase and RNase. AlumaSeal II (1.4 mil foil, medical-grade acrylic adhesive) and eXTReme FoilSeal (1.9 mil) are rated from -80°C to +120°C and resist solvents such as DMSO, while FoilSeal and EZcap FoilStrips use 2.0 mil foil rated -20°C to +120°C for PCR and short-term work.
