The 229524 is the 24-well format of CELLTREAT's Non-Treated Multiple Well Plate line — providing a medium-density well format with 1.93 cm² of cell growth surface area per well and a 0.5–1.5 mL working volume per well.
The non-treated polystyrene surface of the 229524 is specifically designed for cell types that require passive or no attachment to the well surface, and for applications where protein adsorption to the well surface must be minimized or precisely controlled. The flat bottom well design is ideal for visual inspection of cell culture progress and for applications requiring consistent optical path lengths for colorimetric or absorbance measurements. The included lid features a raised rim on each well that nests into the rings of the single-direction lid to reduce evaporation and limit cross-contamination risk during incubation. The lid also features a stacking ring for added stability when handling tall stacks of plates in the incubator or on the bench.
Manufactured from crystal-clear polystyrene and sterilized by gamma irradiation, the 229524 is certified nonpyrogenic and RNase-/DNase-free. Alpha-numeric well markings for easy identification of individual wells. Every case is printed with the lot number for quality traceability.
