The Crystal Technology & Industries UFMP-709L Upright Freezer Rack stores up to 98 microtiter plates with lids (112 without) in a low 9 3/16" profile, making it a smart fit for the short top and bottom shelves of upright -80°C freezers. Its 14 compartments are arranged seven deep and two high, each holding a neat stack of 96-well or 384-well plates.
Each compartment is sized for standard-footprint 96-well and 384-well microtiter plates, including deep-well and PCR plates that share the same footprint. The rack is made from durable stainless steel with double welds and rounded edges, so it stays strong and corrosion-free through years of ultra-low temperature storage and is comfortable to handle with cryo gloves. A locking rod keeps plates in place, and an optional security lock device is available separately.
