The Crystal Technology & Industries UFMP-716L Upright Freezer Rack holds up to 168 microtiter plates with lids (196 without), with tall 7 15/16" compartments that each take a stack of 12 lidded plates. Its 14 compartments are arranged seven deep and two high in a 16" tall rack built for full-height freezer shelves.
Each compartment is sized for standard-footprint 96-well and 384-well microtiter plates, including deep-well and PCR plates that share the same footprint. The rack is made from durable stainless steel with double welds and rounded edges, so it stays strong and corrosion-free through years of ultra-low temperature storage and is comfortable to handle with cryo gloves. A locking rod keeps plates in place, and an optional security lock device is available separately.
The UFMP-716L is part of Crystal's complete line of upright freezer racks for microtiter plates, available in depths from 3 to 7 compartments and heights from 9 3/16" to 18 15/16". LIGHT LABS carries the full line so you can match a rack to every shelf in your freezer.
